We actually never met until the day of the event and we were blown away!
When we started to plan our Pop Up GTA event, we knew we need help in the 6ix! After searching and speaking with a few event planners, we knew that Chic Events by Sonia was exactly what we were looking for! Planning an event all the way across the country can be daunting but Sonia worked with us so well, and kept us in the loop every step of the way! We actually never met until the day of the event and we were blown away! From her amazing team, to her keen eye for detail - if you are looking for a Chic event, Sonia is your girl!

Sonia and her team provided day-of coordination for my wedding on a busy summer long weekend. In short, the wedding ceremony and reception both flowed smoothly thanks for the attention to detail and dedication of the chic team.
To prepare for the wedding, my partner and I participated in a few meetings with Sonia and the Lead Coordinator Jaspreet to ensure our vendors were in order and all logistical aspects of the wedding had been considered. A family meeting was also coordinated by Sonia. This step was crucial as it helped us ensure we considered both our needs and our families’ needs in the planning process.
On the day of the wedding ceremony, the chic team ensured our sikh ceremony went off smoothly, despite 2 other weddings taking place at the same time and venue. The team ensured all family and friends present for the milni knew where to go, and when the festivities would kick off. At the venue, the team unfortunately encountered some very rude individuals - the team handled these people well (with grace balanced with firmness) and shielded the family and us as the bride and groom from that added stress.
At the reception, the chic team spent hours ensuring all the details of our decor and logistics were in place exactly as requested. All family members knew the details of the evening were taken care of, and they could relax and simply enjoy the evening.
With Sonia and her team, my partner and I truly felt taken care of. We were able to enjoy our wedding events to the fullest, knowing the details had been taken care of.

I knew I would get along with you at the first meeting itself, as you were as organized & OCD as I was. But truly thank you ---you all did an awesome job.
I didn't even have to worry I was just like oh Sonia will take care of it. You guys handled all the vendors without our help, it honestly felt amazing to not have to think about contacting vendors during that week.
Your guidance through the stressful days was much needed and made our occasion seamless. I simply enjoyed my daughter's wedding after handing over the logistics to you.
You helped us bring a dead eastern Washington to life by making our vision a reality!! People are literally shook Sonia I kid you not. Everyone was left speechless by the food, decor, atmosphere just everything.
